Abstract

A new program called “Hydroecolog” for processing the expedition data on oceanography, hydrobiology, marine biophysics and hydrochemistry has been developed. The main purpose of the program – is to automatically maps creation, sections and vertical profiles on the base of calculated values and with an unlimited number of parameters can be used for measurement in any region of the World Ocean. The program offers additional functionality: different types of maps, calculation of statistical characteristics, a method for working with different types of vertical profiles and data editing. Simplicity and accessibility of the interface make this program an effective and simple tool for hydrobiologists in the collection of data in field conditions as well as in the fulfillment of complex investigations.
