Abstract

The current literature review on problems of mass cultivation and application of microalgae and cyanobacteria has been carried out. The characteristic of biological value, economical profitability of cultivation and feasible application fields of most commercially valuable species has been given. The main problems limiting branch development and modern approaches to their solution have been analyzed.
