Abstract

Development times and survival of brackish water copepods Calanipeda aquae dulcis and Arctodiaptomus salinus fed monospecific cultures of microalgae from different taxonomic groups were determined in experimental conditions. The highest survival of C. aquae dulcis and shortest duration of development time for both copepod species were obtained on Dinophyceae and Prymesiophyceae diet.
